Thor, ieders favoriete Noorse god, zijn debuut op het grote scherm komt steeds dichter en dichter. In deze trailer zien we voor het eerst beelden van de wereld die regisseur Kenneth Brannagh tot leven brengt en het smaakt naar meer. Het gaat hier duidelijk om een origins verhaal (nogal wiedes). Ik moet zeggen, het is jaren geleden dat een trailer het gewenste effect had op mij maar deze doet me wensen dat ik Emmet Brown zijn Delorean even kon lenen. Voor zij die niet bekend zijn met de figuur Thor:

At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Ik was zo’n beetje bang geworden dat Thor misschien zou teleurstellen, vooral omdat de film uiteindelijk niet zo veraf meer is, en er zeer weinig rond te doen was. Maar nu met de trailer te zien heb ik weer goede hoop.
Storend blijft toch het Australisch accent van Chris Hemsworth. Maarjah, hieraan zullen we wel wennen. Ook vind ik het wel raar dat de Frost Giants in de trailer er niet meteen .. welja Giant-achtig, uizien. Maar ook hier zullen we best afwachten tot de film eer we echt kunnen be-oordelen.
Ik hoop gewoon dat ze in de film erin kunnen slagen om Thor echt als een heavy-hitter, een power-house te kunnen weergeven. Zoals hij in de comics ook is.
